Guild Trivia Night

It's time for Trivia Night! This will take place in-game and is scheduled for next Thursday night at 8PM (May 24th). The rules follow:

There will be 20 Trivia questions. Question could be from any subject! They could be questions about SWTOR, religion, science, technology, SW Lore, current events - you won't know until I give them!

This is a Jeopardy-style trivia game, so I will be requesting answers in the form of a question

All trivia questions will be given in Guild Chat and must be answered in Guild Chat. You must wait until I completely type out the Full Trivia Question. Once I say "You may answer the question", then you may answer the question. The reason for this is that this will allow everyone to know that I am done typing the question out. Plus, I don't want someone to try to answer it in the middle of typing it.

The first person who types out the correct answer will win the prize for that question. There will be no multiple winners for one question!

If you answer the question before I have typed it out and say "You may answer the question" you will be disqualified from winning the credits for that question. The person with the next correct answer will win it.

There will be a 30 second time limit to answer the question. So if no one answers the question in the time limit, then the gold will be applied to the next trivia question. So, if the trivia question was worth 1,000 credits and the next one is worth 2,000 credits, then the next trivia question will become worth 3,000 credits.

Once the Trivia contest is done, I will deliver the credits through the mail system. I will deliver it to the character you are currently playing.

Play with honor – no cheating! No, I won’t know if you’re cheating, but I would hope that your good nature (and a little nudging by God) would stop you in your tracks!

Everyone is invited! Also, I may create a separate channel for the game - I'll edit this with that name later.

Evangelism Training Course POSTPONED

I will be teaching the Evangelism Training Course on Friday May 4th @ 8pm EDT -4 GMT. The ETC is one of our Specialized Training Courses offered in the guild which I have taught before.

The course will cover the basics of sharing the gospel with others, leading others to Christ, do's and don't in local evangelism, as well as how to lead family members to Christ.

The class will last roughly 60-90 minutes and be followed by a test. Those who pass the test will be awarded the Outreach Specialist Badge.

Officer Promotion for Araden Semaj to Raid Leader

Araden has experience running raids in other games like World of Warcraft and will be starting a new open raid for those of you still trying to find a group. Araden is a fun guy and knows his stuff. Most everyone knows Josh from running with the progression group in end game content in TOR. He is a great guy with a great heart and I know he will do an amazing job leading raids for our guild.
