by Jao Thaun, 26 days agoBioware has confirmed a Spring 2011 launch date for The Old Republic as well as a 2010 Beta launch date which means that some folks will undoubtedly get to play this year.
Delays are very common in MMO's, and are always a good thing. If they are delaying the launch of their game it is to make the game better, to add more content (hopefully space combat), to find and remove bugs, exploits, and class imbalances, and most of all to make the game enjoyable to play for years to come which is vital to the survival of any Guild in an MMO.
During this time, we will continue to grow as a Guild although many guilds are not going to make it. Many will dissolve over the course of the next year and/or become inactive, but the Saints are here to stay. As more guilds dissolve, there will be more opportunity for recruitment as Christian players who were a part of those inactive guilds will be looking for a new home, and that home may very well be here. That being said, I want to encourage each of you to continue to check the forums here, share prayer requests, write roleplay stories, get to know one another, and stay active in the TOR community. This year will be over before you know it and we'll be that much closer to playing The Old Republic.
Thank you for being a part of our Guild and I look forward to playing with you in game come Spring 2011.
